Hey Ruchie       02/16/05 08:27 PM Edit Reply Quote Augie Reged: 10/27/04 Posts: 5807 Loc: Illinois I don't eat anything with sugar in it except for my one cup of rice milk. I do frozen veggies and get the lowest and make my own soups. None of my meds list weight gain as a side effect. Hmm I'm stumped. I don't drink a lot of water, but do drink herb tea all day. Excercise is zilch! I am very bloated and I am retaining lots of water in my calves and ankles. When I take my socks off at night I have like an inch difference where the sock indented my skin! I've had my the blood work for thyroid done (THS) but it came back normal. I have heard though that the test doesn't always indicate when there is a problem. My doctor doesn't seem to take my edema seriously since the blood work came back okay.
