I immediately (within 20 minutes) get bloated & gassy and terribly uncomfortable and it lasts for days and days. It's my biggest sensitivity. I used to eat Atkins protein bars twice a day and once I stopped, I lost 6 pounds within a few days. If you are sensitive to soy, READ LABELS carefully and you'll be amazed at how many foods have soybean oil in them. Even though Soy has been brilliantly marketed as a healthy product, it is an allergen for many people. Good for you for recognizing it!
