I'm sorry to say I don't know if that's a good price or not, I've never seen it in a store?? I had to order mine from "George's Aloe Vera Juice" online. I'll look in Wal-Mart, though, as I'm SURE it's cheaper!!
The authors of that book are James F., Md. and Balch, Phyllis A. I don't swear by the book or do everything it says, but it is a very comprehensive explanation of all the different herbs, vitamins, etc etc.
