Buffalo meat       02/01/05 12:45 PM Edit Reply Quote Little Minnie Reged: 04/16/04 Posts: 4987 Loc: Minnesota Even though buffalo is low in fat it is still red meat- like eating a very lean piece of beef (this applies to venison and elk as well). So it is still hard to digest. I actually had 1 bite of the stuff last week but knew instinctively that any more would have me backed up and churning. -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages: "You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
