This is a very interesting question... I'll have to check out that article. As for stress at work, I completely understand. I'm a high school resource room teacher and I know how crazy teaching can be. You're right, you can't look away when there are kids in the room! I have one question for you, though... have you tried the hypnosis CDs yet? Because doing the hypno program helped me deal with all sorts of stress in my life, not just IBS-related stress. I felt like it calmed me down and helped me be more relaxed about everything. Also, yoga does the same thing for me.
