I would not take it if I were you unless it is absolutely necessary. You must take it under the careful supervision of a good doctor that you trust. If you take a very small amount occasionally, it's fine. But it can be addictive. If you take it on a regular basis, you cannot just stop taking it or you will go into withdrawal and that will be worse than not taking it at all. If it knocks you out or puts you to sleep, you're taking too high a dose. Make sure you don't drive when you have taken a high dose like this. That can be dangerous! You will be too relaxed. How much did the doctor advise you to take? A friend of mine who is an internist calls it the alcohol drug because he says it does to your brain exactly what having too much to drink does.
