The next thing that's critical for constipation is a soluble fibre supplement. Yes, it's the same "kind" of fibre that is in white bread - soluble fibre. Bet ya didn't know that! The whole idea that white bread etc is constipating is a myth! Soluble fibre supplements will really help ease your constipation. Try acacia, benefiber, equalactin, citrucel. Start with a very small dose and slowly work your way up. IT is still really important to get your insoluble fiber as well. Don't stick only to "starches". You need to find the right balance of soluble and insoluble fiber to ease the constipation.
