As and IBS sufferer for 14 years, I began IBS-D, and now suffer IBS-C. I am up to the max dose on acacia (3T ), drink plenty of water, and only use Calcium/Magnesium and 5-htp as supplements. I'm pretty stable most of the time, but have been investigating inositol as a possilbe additional supplement. I have a cousin on this that has seen great results, and research indicates it helps C. I am not taking a probiotic daily and am also looking into that. Which one if either should I add? Or should I just leave well enough alone? I don't want to od on the supplements, but I am still not as "well" with this as I would like to be. Suggestions, experiences, knowledge welcome. Thanks!
