Welcome to the board! While you are waiting for the book, use all the dietary guidelines on this website. The sticking to potatoes, rice, oatmeal, etc. is only meant for a few days to stabilize. If you feel better after a day or two, then you can slowly incorporate fruits, veggies and meats recommended. In the meantime, you can always sprinkle garlic salt, a drizzle of olive oil, cinnamon, sugar, chives, ... The idea is just not to go overboard while trying to stabilize. Butter spray is tolerated by lots of people, but I would wait a bit - it has a lot of additives. If you have any more questions, we're here.
