Low Fat-Wheat free Chocolate Chip Cookies       07/06/03 04:31 PM Edit Reply Quote Karin Reged: 02/11/03 Posts: 483 Loc: Southern California 1/8 cup rice flour 3/4 cup soy flour 1/4 cup corn or potato starch 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup apple butter 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp water 1/4 cup egg whites Chocolate chips (or carob) 1/2 cup chopped nuts Sift together flours, salt and baking soda. Blend margarine, sugars, vanilla and water. Beat in egg whites. Add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop by well rounded teaspoons onto sprayed cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375°. You can adapt this to your own needs, such as sugars vs. honey, nuts vs no nuts. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
