I have been on many different ones over the years and have found erythromycin and clindimycin to be the worst for me. It is not recommended to take imodium while dealing with the side effects because it is one way for the body to quickly clear out germs from the system. I do not know much about probiotics, but have found that adjusting to a bland diet that removes ALL triggers and eating before each dose helps. Even if you just have crackers before a pill it can help. Sometimes, you just have to ride it out, at least this is what I have found.
