Hi Queenie; what I do during an attack is to just let Nature take its course.Just make sure you drink a little something so you don't get dehydrated! that is very important! ONce I know that the flare is not as bad;and only if I have to go somewhere do I take immodium and pray. If I keep harping on when it will be over, it makes it worse. So I try & do something else to get my mind off it,such as reading a book or talking to my daughter & husband. They help take my mind of it unless I'm really running. I don't eat anything until it has slowed down.A piece of toast or jello to start. Hope you feel better!
