That is really interesting. I can vouch for the lack of productivity. I had cramps but went to work today, I spent most of the day on the boards or on email, I sat there hugging my tummy and feeling miserable and there was no point coming home as the builders were working on the house.
I hate missing work a lot but do find I'm better to take the day off, sleep and recover and be freshfaced the next day so I can actually get some work done then.
