It is one of the things that made a difference for me. I take it right after I eat every lunch and supper. They are chewable and I buy them at Wal-Mart -- though I have bought other brands. I have tried other things and haven't noticed any more of a difference -- but I am already stable. So it doesn't mean that they wouldn't help someone who isn't.
