I have IBS-C, too, and am new as well. I've been on Heather's diet for about a month. I'm so C that I have to eat lots of insolubles & wheat, I think. I really get bloated & backed up when I don't get enough insolubles. (To tell the truth, I'm still very C even on Heather's diet so far.)

I've been making bread in my bread machine. I've been using white flour, wheat flour, & a little oatmeal. That mixture is fine for me. Plus, it tastes great!

There are lots of tasty recipes in Heather's book. You'll enjoy it!

Right now, I'm watching what I eat, taking acacia, & taking Zelnorm for my C. I, too, ate some "naughty" things over the weekend because I went to 2 Christmas dinners. Had no ill effects at all, though.

Welcome!
