Metamucil and Juice       12/02/04 08:29 PM Edit Reply Quote Computr821 Reged: 12/02/04 Posts: 445 Loc: University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA/ Baltimore, MD I was diagnosed with IBS (I'm a type C with gas) last week and my doctor told me to take Metamucil powder once a day (caplets were not reccomended due to the lower fiber value). The only way that I can get it down is if I mix it with apple juice, but I read somewhere else on this site that apple juice is a high fructose (and problematic) drink.
