Heather's book (Eating for IBS) says that licorice, rhubarb, prunes, and figs are natural laxatives as are fresh fruits (if she shouldn't eat those things, someone PLEASE correct me. I'm not a doctor or an IBS expert). Also, people say that it helps to move around. I don't know if you can walk around with the heating blanket. Try to avoid eating/drinking things that are ice-cold.
Sorry I don't have better advice. I'm new here and I'm not a "c"-er. I just got this from what I've read in the books and the message board.
