Wow, I was surprised to see this thread pop up, it's been a long time!
I am still waiting to get a call for an appt. for my MRI. I have called the office once now. I'll have to call back again. Maybe it just takes a long time to get an MRI appt.
So I am trying to ride out this terrible insomnia thing. He gave me a prescription for a sleeping pill but it made my IBS terrible the next morning. I haven't taken another one since. I've been taking valerian to help me sleep but it's not super effective.
Hopefully you'll be able to get to the bottom of things. The neurologist says that there's several possible causes for insomnia. Mine is unclear and not due to psychological factors. Apparently that is way easier to treat than this mysterious brain sleep-malfunction.
