Hi Jen! Welcome....

Are you following the Eating for IBS guidelines at all? Are you taking a fiber supplement?

Another thing you can do to help with the D & urgency is take a calcium supplement, like Caltrate +D. I started taking that (actually I use the generic version which works just as well) way before I ever heard of Eating for IBS, and I noticed a difference. Of course, it was small, but once I figured out what I could/couldn't eat, it all came together.

I would stay away from the cream gravy & sausage...they're big fat NO's for Eating for IBS.

Honestly, I used to be an imodium addict, but I hardly ever have to use it now--only if I'm feeling touchy or actually having an attack, which I think my last one was in January .

I would try to change some other things like diet & supplement--if you're not already--before just taking an imodium every day...but then again, that's just me.
