Spend some more time around here, or pick up IBS The First Year, and really familiarize yourself with the difference between soluable and insoluable fiber. Fruits and Veggies can be a great source of both, but you initially want to make sure he is getting plenty of soluable fiber -- it should be the base of every meal -- and limited insoluable fiber (just enough so that he doesn't get C). It's a tricky, delicate balance but you will get the hang of it. Soluable Fiber Supplements have been so helpful to many of us, so I hope you'll consider those.
