Yesterday I went for an evaluation (free) at a friends chiropractor because he was doing them free for friends and family and I have back rpoblems and knee problems... anyway- he asked about stomach pain and pointed to part of my spine that runs to nerves in the intestines and my stomach being part of what was out of whack ont he heat sensor test he did. I am going back on the 2nd to find out what they think they can do and the costs of treatment.... not sure if I'll do what he suggests, but insurance will cover up to 500 a year so it can't hurt to try a bit and see what happens...

has anyone else ever heard of chiropractic help helping with IBS symptoms? I'll be honest enough to say until he showed me the heat sensor stuff (2 sensors run down your back- one on each side of the spine, if the heats are different on the 2 sides at any point that means that something is out of alignment and nerves are affected) on the computer and the 2 places it was really out of alignment were the section with the nerves to the belly nad the spot at my upper neck where my pain is worst!

and since PT didn't help much especially long term, I figure it can't help to try this! but the big question is when making a treatment plan do I waste time on my tummy issues too or do I blow that part off and have him focus on my upper neck issues and just ignore the rest?
