Oh, wow! I wish I'd seen this thread before I made a whole other one about my emetophobia. Nice to see some other antipodeans too I haven't had a colonoscopy, just donated various bodily fluids and stuff.I don't really doubt my diagnosis though, as it really does have all the hallmarks of IBS (as much as anything can with such vaired symptoms). Don't let your nausea stop you from eating though; I find sometimes I feel sick because I'm actually hungry. Eating a couple of rice crackers or wine biscuits usually gets my tummy to decide one way or t'other whether it's sick or hungry.
