There is more to being stable than pooping everyday- somehow- I can't explain it but now that I am stable I just don't bloat. I know what you mean about being regular and still bloating later on, I had that for many, many years. But with Heather's diet and the right amount of soluble fiber supplement I am not bloated anymore. There is no magic pill or anything but I do highly recommend fennel based tea. It helps a lot but will not take the bloating completely away without getting stable. -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages: "You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
