I didn't do the beginning diet b/c I was just bloated and gassy and occassionally c or d but wanted relief. I don't want to recommend something no one else is but I just wanted to say don't be scared or intimidated and if YOU don't want to start very restricted just know someone else didn't either. Now I feel like a bad associate. Word of caution though, be careful with soy if you are new to it. And please don't blame me if you don't feel better!

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
