Even though I DID get constipated on (I am basically IBS A/C bit of each) the basics, my gas disappeared and my belly felt sooo calm after all the churning. You MUST keep a food and symptom diary and introduce things one by one...although in the short term it may be difficult and challenging, it will allow you to feel free and safe in the long term because you will know for a FACT what you can and cannot eat...can you imagine the liberation??? If you want to step a little outside the diet with some insolubles, I would suggest on insolubles like oatmeal, brown rice, pureed fruit and root vegies which have a high proportion of soluble too and are very well tolerated by most people.
