After a month of coughing, coughing, coughing, the doctor suspects it might be whooping cough (there have been a few cases of it around here) so I've come home today with a fist full of meds... a week of antibiotics, 11 days of Prednisone, plus a cough suppressant with codeine in it. Wowzah! OK, so any advice you'd care to pass on as to how to eat, how to supplement, anything special to do while on this battery of meds to prevent it from completely #$%^&$#ing up my hard-earned gastro-intestinal stability would be appreciated beyond my powers to express!
