I just wanted to say hi and welcome.  You're in the right place, and never apologize for "venting" - we've all been there (or are there right now!) and we all know how you feel all too well.
I can relate to your situation, especially, here and there. I used to be very active outdoors - not exactly athletic, but I used to hike and camp quite a lot. This past year was the first ever that I didn't go camping or hiking a single time - not once! I just didn't dare.
I'm also not working, currently. I wasn't fired or forced to quit; I quit of my own accord, when I was at the job for only a couple weeks and I was sick every morning before I went in, from the stress of it. I haven't worked since, because I know any job I take is going to put me in the same situation.
Have you been back to your doctor recently? I only ask because your symptoms are suddenly getting worse... it couldn't hurt to get checked out again, if you haven't already.
Anyway... it's nice to meet you, and hope you'll stick around.
