I can't remember the ratio, but it is like 300 times sweeter than sugar. That is why so many manufacturer's use it in their products, it is so much cheaper, because they only have to add a little bit to get the same amount of sweetest that they would get with sugar. And I can handle it in small amounts with no problem. Many of the animal cookies I eat have High Fructose Corn Syrup, but in such a small amount it is not a problem. My body can break down the fructose with no adverse effects. You can usually see if there is a lot of high fructose corn syrup, by seeing where it is listed in the ingredients. They are supposed to list ingredients from most amount to least amount in the product. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
