Insomnia issues...       10/29/04 01:12 PM Edit Reply Quote Sara-Sage Reged: 02/04/04 Posts: 5508 I went to a sleep specialist last night to get the results of my sleep study. Oh boy! I found out that I don't reach stage 3 and 4 of sleep and pretty much just stay in stage 2. For those of you who don't know sleep-talk that's VERY, VERY BAD! That explains why I am always exhausted when I wake up and throughout the day. It's because I literally do not get any sleep. My boyfriend was floored when I told him as he thought I just needed to "relax" and I'd be able to sleep. he said he'll never bug me about me too tired again. Anyhow, the neurologist wants to do an MRI to figure out what in my brain isn't letting me get the sleep that I need. No biggie, it's a harmless test. He gave me a prescription for a sleeping pill. I took 1/2 a dose last night and I did sleep. But when I woke up this morning I was a huge zombie. I still am PLUS it set of a pretty bad IBS attack. I won't be taking that little pill again. No thanks. I'm kinda discouraged as I didn't expect this insomnia thing to be such a big deal. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
