Congratulations......See, we all told you that there was nothing to worry about. As to the CT scan, well if you think the colonoscopy was easy wait till you have the CT. You'll be in and out in less than 20 minutes. Don't let what the doc said scare you. Think positive and don't think the worst, ever. The stress alone your IBS doesn't need. Glad it was nothing more than a (certainly) benign polyp and a little diver. Cheer up, I had 5 polyps taken, none of which had even as much as one cancer cell. (Interesting to see how they do that but I'd rather had been asleep.) And the diverticulosis is not much to worry about. I have that as well. May mean you have to watch it with salads, but then salads can be hard on an IBS-er anyway. Supposedly you have to watch things with little seeds as well, but I'm not sure if that theory has ever been confirmed. First thing I asked when I saw the doc (remember I was awake through most of it) was "Crohns?????". When he said no I was relieved.
How did the pre-colonoscopy prep go? If you're looking for a few good laughs go back and read "the rest of the story" (as Paul Harvey on the radio would say) about my preparation experience.
