I persoanlly can only eat bananas if they are just beginning to ripen...otherwise they give me heartburn too (thought I was the only one!) You may also have a problem with fructose...can you digest other fruits ok? Have you been to a GI yet to rule out other problems such as ulcers, GERD, etc.? While you may have IBS and something else, it's always good to get it checked out to know for sure.
