I don't think you are overacting, either. The doc's assistant usually calls me about results, too, but if I want to talk to the doc directly, I can.

I think you have every right to question the change in meds and the blood in stool. And you need to talk to the doc and not his assistant. She had no reason to be so rude. I do think if there was a problem with the blood they would have told you. I don't think it's anything to worry about if your colonoscopy was OK.

I do think it's a good idea to take the reports from this doc and see a new doc. Hopefully you will get some answers that way. At least you won't have to repeat the tests again.

I am on Librax and it helps me relax and relaxes my tummy, too. A lot of my IBS is brought on by stress. But, if the Levisin is helping you I don't think there is any reason to change.

Also, I take Phazyme for gas and it helps me. Just be careful that whatever you take doesn't have sorbitol in it. I think there is a form of GAX-X that does.
