My chiropractor asked me this morning if I've ever been tested for Fibromyalgia. When I asked him if he thought that I had it, he said no, but that he was a little concerned because I had so much pain when he was doing his "normal" tests on me on Monday. Tests that don't normally hurt people. He also said that he didn't think there was enough concern to run right out and get a medical doctor to test me for it, because I probably don't have it and even if I were diagnosed with it, I'd more than likely treat it with diet (which I'm already doing) and meds. Meds that he knows I won't take.
What if it is Fibromyalgia??? Should I go and get tested?? Or should I trust this guy (who otherwise seems very knowledgeable). He did say that he's been VERY successful treating if with the patients that he has with it.
Do you think he's pulling my leg and just wants my business, or do you think he's being honest?
