I had my gallbladder sugery last Friday. After the surgery the doctor said it was just filled with stones (more than 20). I have to say everything went better than I anticipated (pain level, recovery time, etc.)
The bummer is after several months of having my IBS under control, I'm dealing with the cramping and D again this week. I'm am being very strict with the diet. I am hoping this just a temporary condition due to the stress of surgery on my body and things will return to normal soon.
Anybody out there have problems after surgery?
P.S. I know it is possible to have the different type of D that requires Questran after this surgery.... but the nurse said if it was that, it would be constant D. Mine is on one or two days then okay the next. So she thinks the IBS has flared up again.
