Hi Nataliag! I'm Nel! I had the same thing with bc pills. I took all the ortho novums, and the the mini pill, which was the least strong at the time, and they were all too strong for me. My IBS was at its worst, and I was getting migraines and sometimes bleeding for 3 weeks straight.
I had to stop taking the pill, and found out that when they say not all women can take the pill, I'm one of those they're talking about. So I stopped for about 6 years, until the shot came about here in the states-- depo provera. Stopped my periods and stopped my pms and cramping, and as a result, my ibs is better than ever.
I know it's hard when something doesn't work for you. Especially when it seems to work so well for others!!! Keep trying new things. Everyone is different, and you'll find something that works for you.
