I was only on BC pills alittle before I came down with IBS, right now I am on Ortho Evra (the birth control patch) and it is lovely. No bad side effects, and I am so regular I know almost to the hour when my period will start. The only thing I don't like is the icky dirt ring that forms around the patch. If this sounds good for you, ask your doc about it. It takes a little getting used to, with where, and how to apply it and getting it to stay in one place, but after a couple of months you would be a pro.
