IBS and birth control pills       09/29/04 09:18 AM Edit Reply Quote nataliag Reged: 09/29/04 Posts: 2 I am 24 years old and was told I had IBS since I was 19-20. Every day would drag and become intolerable. Mostly I had horrible stomach pains and bloating. I couldn't think of anything else and I had mini panic attacks. So within the last 3 months, I saw a GI DOC who prescribed me amitryptline and haven't had any pains snice UNTIL I started birth control pills again. The pain seems to be coming back.
