You say that the largest amount in your meal should be from soluble fiber, but how do you figure this out. For example, you can't go off numbers because a serving of pasta has 2grams of sol fiber but if I put in chicken that has approx. 25 grams of protein. I'm always unsure of how much fiber i need to eat in order to add other ingredients to my meal. For example if I have pasta with chicken and tomatoe sauce with mushrooms can I have some of an apple or other fruit (peeled of course!) I am dying to know the answer. Thanks!
