The sooner you can give your tummy something to contract around the sooner things will get back to normal. DON'T exceed your normal dose though! And remember things like the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast) to help calm things down. And of course Imodium or Pepto Bismol or Kaopectate.
