I use benefiber.. and stabilized with 4 tablespoons a day.. some people just take more at a sitting- twice a day, but I find it works better if I take it 4 times, I take one table spooon in the morning before I eat anything by about half an hour, and one right before bed, the other 2 I take about a half hour before 2 of my meals. If I know I will be having less soluble fiber with a given meal or be eating a larger meal (company, out, etc...) I make sure that is one of the meals... I either take it in hot tummy tea, or in applesauce, or homemade soy ice cream..
