I took my first one today, 3 hours ago and feel nothing so far. Actually I have a bit more energy. Things that are labelled as drowsy often have the opposite effect on me. Neocitran and NyQuil often keep me up instead of making me sleepy. My doctor prescribed that I take 1/2 pill for the first 5 days. I think that's to get it into my body gradually and more gently.
