I'm on amitriptyline too!

Hi there,
I just wanted to stick my nose in and say that I got put on the amitriptyline 'cause I was having panic attacks when I would leave the house about going to the bathroom and stuff, and then that would trigger an IBS attack. After taking them for a bit, I started to feel much more at ease about going out... especially because it helped the spasming as well, I think. I started off at 10mg every night for 2 weeks, and then up to 20 which I am at now.. but it's still a tiny, tiny amount considering they give.. I think it's 175 mg for depression.
It made me really tired at first, and now I find that if I don't get enough sleep I feel really shattered but as long as I get some good sleep, I'm a-okay.
