I asked him about the sedation and he said "Of course they sedate you and you shouldn't feel a thing". I think some GI's don't use that at all! The JERK GI kept telling me how extremely painful it would be - well ya, if you don't give your patients anything, then yes it will hurt a lot.

I will not get it done without sedation. Too bad.
