I spent a year telling myself it was just food intolerances. My doctor basically sat me down and told me that all my symptoms were typical of anxiety and depression and I should start taking the meds. I didn't belive him, but took them anyway - then had a total breakdown!! The result is, however, that now the meds are working I feel loads better, can eat much more food and am in a position to deal with the stress and anxiety issues. Obviously life still isn't perfect, but it's loads better. Three days ago I was posting the boards saying how ill I felt and the meds were not working, two weeks in to the treatment and I am enjoying life again ... so I would suggest trying them for a while (as a short term not long term solution).
