Gas, gas....and more gas! Help!       08/30/04 12:35 PM Edit Reply Quote Rob Reged: 08/29/04 Posts: 3 Gas...What a nice way to begin :-) I'm a new member and this is my first post! I have been diagnosed with IBS and my main symptom is gas/flatulence or whatever you want to call it! It's just plain embarrassing! Talk about a real pain in social/work situations! I know it could be much worse...my brother has Chron's Disease. Aside from stress reduction, lactose avoidance (I was diagnosed with that too), I've tried acidophilus (Culturelle Brand) and Metamucil. When I take too much metamucil, my stomach really lets me know it! This site is rather cool...I see some other things can help like a different soluble fiber or tea etc...can anyone share their ideas with me? Thank you so much!
