Don't know what is causing my anemia--but it is iron deficiency and I have tried the iron you take--I remember I did not have as severe a reaction to those pills except when I was prescribed to take 3 a day!!! Might go back and try 1 per day again--so thanks for jarring my memory. I also eat cereal with iron and that seems to work great--also used to do well on red meat and might try to go back to having that once or twice a week too...thanks again for the help--much aappreciate it--feel good!
