I have gone through periods of time when the Breaking the Cycle diet still didn't help my symptoms at all. And other times that it seems to work. Has your doc ruled out food allergies? Celiac? I have been frustrated recently too with trying to get a follow up with the GI doc. Once I had my last colonoscopy (which showed no pathology), I feel like he was done with me. Yet I still don't feel very well. I've tried to get in for a follow-up, but I haven't gotten a call back yet. It's really frustrating, isn't it? Like you, I would much rather deal with food problems than stress. Unfortunately I think stress is a big factor. But how do you control stress? Food is a much easier fix! Hang in there!
