No D, no migraines, fibro at a manageable 5 or even 6!!
Made it another 24 hours no D. Taking Imodium as a preventive turns out to be the missing link for me. Had another normal BM this morning even though I've been taking probably at least one Imodium a day, sometimes two. It seems like I might have found the right balance between not enough and too much (I've NEVER taken too much!) But the real test will be the two days after we get home. That's when I had the attack last year (after that infamous hot fudge sundae on the last night at the beach). Well, I won't make that mistake again, but as others have posted there's often a let down reaction after the stress is over when the attack finally hits. So I won't declare victory until July 31! After that it will be just 9 days to my seven-month milestone. Oh, please, please, please, let me make it!!!
Okay, food. Last night's dinner as planned was bread and pasta with just a little tomato sauce (gave me heartburn, but Mylanta took care of that). Only ate half, took the rest home and Andy had it for lunch! Had cereal and fruit for breakfast, PBJ for lunch before I went to the beach. Pretzels for a snack.
Dinner tonight is the fanciest yet. It's SIL's birthday dinner and we're going to the Washington Inn, which gets a 27 out of 30 food rating in Zagats. I'm hoping they'll have some plain chicken for me. Or maybe that crab cake I've been hoping for!!
I did have a chance to read through some posts earlier today. JenX, glad to hear you LOVE the new job. And Casey, glad to hear you're eating well. How many calories are you getting, sweetie? Have you increased it to say 750?
Best to everybody!!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{BIG HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
