Hi, everybody! I just have a minute but wanted to let you know I'm still D-free!! Sorry I didn't report yesterday. Although I didn't have D, I did have a full migraine/fibro meltdown. I am now living proof that it's possible to have not one but TWO migraines in one day!! (The medical definition is 2 hours headache free in between -- otherwise it's a recurrence of the first one.) So for those of you keeping score at home, I had FOUR migraines in THREE days for, yes that's right, a NEW RECORD!!!! (At least for me.) I'm also living proof that when you have fibromyalgia you don't need to actually get a sunburn to feel like you have one! Last night my back and arms and legs were on fire. It felt EXACTLY like a sunburn, even though my skin was not even the teensiest bit pink. Weird.
But no migraine today so I'm now 24 hours migraine-free!! YAY!!
IBS diet-wise, I'm doing good. Back into a normal routine with my SFS, so I won't make the same mistake I made the other night! The breakfast treats are VERY hard to resist but today I only had half of one piece of blueberry coffee cake. Lunch was half a turkey sub. Breakfast was the usual cereal and berries. I read once that to avoid tummy upset when you travel it's best to eat exactly the things you normally eat at home. It was an article aimed at the general population but it's especially true for IBS'ers.
Today's (good) stress is that Andy's mom, sister and niece have arrived. They stay downstairs from us. We're all going out to dinner soon. I plan on having bread and plain chicken or pasta.
I miss YAWL!!!! And I have a thousand questions and comments for everyone of you, but I'll limit myself to the following three since I don't have much time.
