Hi, everybody! I just have a sec so I'm not sure I'll be able to read many posts, but I wanted to let you all know that I've made it another 24 hours on vacation D-free!
It wasn't easy, though. Last night was extremely iffy. I was exhausted from the trip, and queasy from the migraine. I had a very light IBS safe dinner and then, because yesterday was my birthday (yeah, I know, I should have said something), I celebrated by having THREE pieces of Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate. I had it right after my safe dinner and even ate it along with additional soluble fiber food. But my tummy started grumbling almost immediately! So I quick took an Imodium. Twenty minutes later still rumbly, so another Imodium. Then it hit me -- I forgot my dinner dose of SFS!!!!! As soon as I took it my tummy settled right down!! Amazing.
Today I had a normal BM, but since then I've been polluting the atmosphere with extremely smelly farts! Took some Mylanta which helped. We just got back from a nice dinner. I had bread (of course), grilled mahi mahi (only ate half) with linguine with cooked fresh tomato, brie (which I avoided) and olive oil. And my tummy feels fine.
My head however is another story. I got another migraine today, so for those of you keeping score at home, I'm now 2 for 2. ARGHHH!!!! The good news is the sun was out and we went to the beach. The bad news is the glare and noise and heat gave me the migraine. What's a girl to do?!
